SOLARRESERVE KOTULO TSATSI ENERGY CONCENTRATED SOLAR POWER PLANT 2, NORTHERN CAPE PROVINCE

Project Names: SolarReserve Kotulo Tsatsi Concentrated Solar Plant 1 (DEA Ref: 14/12/16/3/3/2/694/2

Applicant:  Kotulo Tsatsi Energy (Pty) Ltd

Proposed Activity and Location: The development, construction and operation of a concentrated solar plant and associated infrastructure with a generating capacity of up to 200MW.  CSP 2 is proposed to be located on  Portion 2 and Portion 3 of the Farm Styns Vley 280 

EIA Process:  In terms of sections 24 and 24D of the National Environmental Management Act (No 107 of 1998), as read with Government Notice R543 – R546 (as amended), an EIA process is being undertaken for the project. 

The Final EIA report has been submitted to the DEA.
