Vhembe Solar PV and Associated Infrastructure, Limpopo Province

The Applicant, JUWI Renewable Energies (Pty) Ltd, is proposing the construction and operation of a Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Energy Facility and associated infrastructure (also referred to herein as 'the Project'). The facility will have a contracted capacity of up to 480MW and will be known as Vhembe Solar PV and Associated Infrastructure. The power will be evacuated by a Loop-in Loop-out (LILO) connection into the 132 kV Venetia–Njelele overhead line that traverses the project site.

The Scoping Report is available for a 30-day review period. Review period: 09 October 2026 to 9 November 2026
